Before you calculate
What is a college specific CGPA calculator?
It uses the grade points, credit rules, exclusions, and rounding method published by a particular college. That matters because Indian institutions do not all calculate CGPA in the same way.
Which college calculators are available?
VIT is the first complete calculator on GradeCalculator.in. Calculators for IITs, NITs, state universities, and other private universities will be added after their official regulations are verified.
Are these results official?
No. The calculators are independent planning tools. Use your university grade sheet or examination office for an official CGPA, transcript, or conversion certificate.
Does the site save my grades?
No. Calculations run in your browser. The current calculator does not send your course names, grades, or results to a server.
Why do credits matter?
A course with more credits has more influence on your SGPA or CGPA. The usual method multiplies each course grade point by its credits, then divides the total weighted points by the counted credits.
